About the Foundation
The Helpmates Community Foundation is the nonprofit branch of the Helpmates family of organizations, founded with the belief that care doesn't stop at someone's front door — it extends into the community, reaching people who may not have access to formal healthcare services.
While Helpmates Home Care, LLC provides licensed home care and behavioral health services, the Foundation works to address broader community needs — from food security and senior wellness to veteran support and youth empowerment.
We are powered by volunteers, community partners, and the generous support of donors who share our vision of a stronger, healthier, and more connected Eastern North Carolina.
